That will drain the color ink cartridge much more quickly than it might run down the black only ink cartridge. When you’re not laser printing high quality documents for a presentation or if you’re laser printing words only, there is a good probability you will not want or have the other colors.

5. If viable, print in draft mode.
Employ the “draft print” resolution tool every time possible. There is a choice of options provided. You may discover different options under the tab “Paper/Quality” which will let you select the draft option quality printing. The document will not laser print at the better resolution, but that should not matter if you are just going to reference material that you won’t need later. What you have to do is turn on the higher quality if you want a better copy of a document.
If you can use this advice, you can soon see significant savings in ink printer cartridges and the cost associated with them.
